On a detector map, a pole is often only a shallow dip. The film shows a spatial distribution map, where regular atomic planes become a row of peaks, and sequential evaporation, which brings that contrast out. It also shows pole-figure indexing, iso-surfaces, and a BCC phase marked from composition.
