What's new in DASAPT 4.1.3

DASAPT 4.1.3 is available. Download the installer. The app updates itself from the same file.

Spatial map (Z)

• Neighbors are taken inside a 3D ball of radius 1.5 nm.
• The direction follows the pole: the detector square versus the pole-figure center, with φx and φy multiplied by the image compression factor.
• Check ICF and flight path before the map. Defaults are ICF 1.5 and 40 mm.
• Presets: LEAP 5000 XS (ICF 2, 100 mm), LEAP 5000 XR and LEAP 6000 XR (ICF 1.5, 40 mm).

Tune ICF

• Sweeps a range and a step. The default step is 0.025.
• Contrast and Fast FFT are both on. The best waveform is high on both.
• The ? button next to each score explains what it measures.

SDM mapping

• Scans the pole figure. Defaults: grid 3 mm, step 1 mm, delocalization 1 mm.
• Contrast and FFT each open a map.
• The color scale can be changed (Viridis, Magma, Jet, and others).
• CPU parallel and GPU are on by default. GPU uses OpenCL when the ion set is large enough; otherwise the calculation stays on the CPU.

Spatial map (plane) has been removed.
